Project Summary

ROSE AND WOOD HALL RENOVATION

For the remodeling of the third floor of Rose Hall and most of the four floors of Wood Hall, the University requested a contemporary layout and interior design. The vision for the interior was to respect the building’s 1970’s vintage while appealing to the aesthetics of current and future students.. Interior finishes were selected to be appropriate for the space, attractive, durable and easy to maintain without the use of energy-intensive maintenance or harsh chemicals.

The new plans provided cohesive office space for several departments of the University. Inclusion of new A/V equipment was coordinated as part of the project, and played a part in establishing the most advantageous classroom aspect ratios that could be achieved within the existing structure. A vending cafe, lounge and study areas in Wood Hall provided contemporary spaces that suite the expectations of modern student life.
