New Shareholders Announced

Berners-Schober is pleased to announce that six new shareholders have been named. Each is recognized for their contributions within the firm, and their disciplined service to their clients and colleagues.

Christine Brown, IIDA, CHID, LEED AP
Associate - Interior Designer

Christine is a Registered Interior Designer with over 15 years of experience at Berners-Schober. Currently, she is one of four Certified Healthcare Interior Designers (CHID) in Wisconsin; which enables her to deliver the best possible solutions for patient-centered care environments. She was recently part of the design teams for the birth centers at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from UW Stevens Point, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Brad Hansen, PE, LEED AP
Associate – Mechanical Engineer

Brad has been involved with Berners-Schober’s healthcare, commercial and higher education markets since he joined the firm in 2003. A LEED Accredited Professional, Brad focuses on providing sustainable and economical HVAC solutions to meet clients’ needs. He has served as the mechanical engineer on several LEED certified buildings including the WDNR Headquarters in Spooner, Wisconsin, and the Student Athlete Performance Center at UW-Madison. Brad contributes to the community by serving on several non-profit and local boards, and by serving as an officer in the local ASHRAE chapter, which maintains his awareness of emerging and current technologies. Brad holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Lori Krause, CPP
Associate – Accountant/Human Resources

Lori is an accredited Certified Payroll Professional and accountant for the firm. She is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial statements. Lori earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UW-Green Bay. Since joining Berners-Schober in 2010, Lori has worked to transition the billing and budgeting into a tool that can be used for project planning by the firm directors. Her accounting expertise helps continue BSA’s reputation for efficient and reliable services.

Kristin Pritchard, IIDA, NCIDQ
Associate - Interior Designer

Kristin joined Berners-Schober in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from UW-Stout. She focuses on space planning, and the selection of finishes, colors, furnishings and accessories to support the owner’s vision for their project. Kristin’s proficiency in 3-D design enables her to offer our clients a visual representation of the design scheme. Kristin is also an excellent resource for clients’ environmental graphics programs, providing a comprehensive plan while keeping the client mission and brand in the forefront. Her design influence can be seen in BSA’s vibrant solutions for the St. Anthony School Fire Restoration in Oconto Falls, WI and within the Student Athlete Performance Center for the University of Wisconsin Athletics.

Steve Srubas, AIA
Associate - Architect

Since joining Berners-Schober in 2002 as a drafter, Steve has established himself as one of the primary Project Architects for the firm. His specialties include exterior building envelope design, component coordination and quality assurance. Steve possesses a passion for project design, and an artistic ability that enables him to convey early concepts to clients through his hand sketches. Steve is a registered architect in the state of Wisconsin.

Robert Van Lanen, RD
Associate – Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer

Bob is a Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer, responsible for code compliance, specification writing and coordination. With his almost 30 years of inter-discipline experience, it would be easier to list projects that Bob has not been involved in than those he has. Bob has been with Berners-Schober since 1987 and has experience in medical gas piping, specialty systems, storm water, sanitary and facility planning. He is a registered plumbing designer in the state of Wisconsin.
