MECHANICAL SPOTLIGHT:
HORIZON VILLAGE
The UW-Oshkosh Horizon Village residence hall required a data center with year round cooling. Heat released from the data center air conditioning system was designed to capture and used to pre-heat domestic water. A warmer entering temperature lowers the amount of energy input by the domestic water heaters. As a result, the domestic water heaters use less energy to bring the hot water up to the desired temperature.

ELECTRICAL SPOTLIGHT:
CHILDREN’S HOSPTIAL E.R.

The Children’s Emergency Department remodel at HSHS St. Vincent’s Hospital (Green Bay, WI) Multi-color LED light fixtures at HSHS gives patients the ability to control the environment in exam rooms. The lighting is designed to highlight architectural elements, creating a Natural Wisconsin landscape.

Normal and emergency outlets are provided to meet the electrical needs of the exam rooms and support spaces. Energy efficient LED fixtures are used throughout the department. An expanded fire alarm system includes the project area. A Nurse call system provides a form of communication between patients and hospital staff.

PLUMBING SPOTLIGHT:
HOLY FAMILY SURGERY SERVICES
Hot, cold, and reverse osmosis water piping is supplied to surgical sterilization equipment as part of a surgery department remodeling. The equipment includes sterilizers, washers/disinfectors, and ultra-sonic cleaners.

A compressed air system provides the necessary air for the equipment and scope instrument cleaning. Backflow preventors on the water feeds for the surgical equipment prevents contaminants and foreign liquids from flowing back into the clean water supply.

We design plumbing and piping systems for various building applications. From water, to medical gas, to sprinkler systems, our solutions provide reliable distribution of essential facility products.
