Reports to: Project Manager
Status: Full Time
Date: 03/25/22

Position Summary:

This position investigates, evaluates, and recommends design approaches, and performs assignments under the direction of the Project Manager. In a variety of projects, both small and large, you will provide guidance in project planning and design, and make decisions in the context of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed architect or non-registered graduate with 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines and schedules.

Software Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office (Work, Excel, and Outlook),
  • Familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a valuable team member throughout every phase of the project.
  • Develop and execute creative and technical design solutions.
  • Prepare drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
  • Assist with the production and coordination of phase-end deliverables.
  • Practice accountability and review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Interiors, and other consultants that are project team members.
  • Perform energy analysis.
  • Maintain an awareness of the project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate specifications.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Assist with the production of bidding and construction administration drawings as required by the Project Manager.
  • Participate in field verifications and project meetings with the Client and contractors.
  • Help prepare for and participate in client meetings.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of codes, plans and specifications for building systems and products.
